I pursue a better understanding of archives work, jazz style.

Historical Society of New Mexico 2010

This video was played at the HSNM 2010 meeting in Hobbs, New Mexico on May 1, 2010.  I am informed by New Mexico State Historian Rick Hendricks that:

The video presentation was well received. When you talked the
audio was completely out of sync with your mouth and gestures,
which made it very amusing. The panning was choppy, and the
zooming was pixelated. I imagine your processor is much faster
than the one in the machine in Hobbs.

I’ve put it on youtube, split into two parts to fit.  See how fast your processor is.

Part 1
Part 2

You might have to turn the volume up quite a bit (if it still isn’t loud enough I’m sorry), and there’s a glitch for 20 seconds at the end of part 2, but it could be worse.  I am editing part 1 to be put up on NMSU’s website as a podcast (and I’ll try to increase the volume for that).
